Short Answer: These headlight grilles come with plastic hardware and screws. The screws affix that plastic hardware onto the outer casing of the light, and the plastic hardware in turn latches onto the light grilles.
1. Headlight grilles need drilling to be installed.
2. Front signal light (top of fender) grilles do not need any drilling.
3. For the tail light grilles, drilling is not required because they screw on using the same location of the screws for the tail lights.
4. For the fog light grilles, drilling is not required because they screw on using the same location of the screws for the fog lights.
The sidelight grilles, however, require drilling.
These grilles on this product page are not made for the W460 or W461. For different models of the W463, however, installation will be the same. We understand and have observed that there are small tolerances between vehicles of even the same model that may occasionally cause these grilles to not fit perfectly. Keep in mind that the G-Class is hand-made. Due to this, we recommend that you place the grilles up in the location where they are meant to be installed and check whether the grille will properly fit as it is intended. Please do this before installing. Once merchandise has been installed, we cannot offer a full refund on it.
